Everyone reads the headline.
Nobody maps the cascade.

The 6D Foraging Methodology™ traces how a single business event propagates across six dimensions simultaneously — revealing what individual reporting misses and what strategy teams need to act on.

01 — THE GAP

Standard analysis catches one dimension. Cascades move through six.

In February 2025, a five-minute Anthropic blog post erased $28 billion from IBM, Accenture, and Cognizant. The news cycle covered the AI announcement. What it missed: 60 years of accumulated complexity being repriced in real time — propagating simultaneously through customer contracts, employee positioning, revenue architecture, regulatory surface area, service quality assumptions, and operational dependencies.

In December 2025, four major entertainment studios began restructuring simultaneously. Individual merger reviews passed their respective regulators. No single body was tracking the aggregate: $82.7 billion in deals, 17,000 jobs cut, and a sector-wide consolidation that every dimension of the industry was absorbing at once.

This is the gap that 6D Intelligence fills. Not faster news. Not more data. A structured framework for tracing how an event moves through an organization or sector — all six dimensions, scored and sequenced — so that strategy teams, analysts, and editors see the full cascade, not just the trigger.

"The individual events fall below any single threshold — which is precisely why the aggregate view matters."

02 — THE FRAMEWORK

Six dimensions. One cascade chain. A complete picture.

The 6D Foraging Methodology™ maps how disruption propagates across six interconnected dimensions. Each dimension is scored independently. The cascade chain reveals sequence, severity, and downstream exposure — identifying the origin dimension, first-order effects (L1), and second-order consequences (L2).

D1 · CUSTOMER

Customer Dimension

How the event reshapes the customer relationship — contracts, switching behavior, expectations, and perceived value.

D2 · EMPLOYEE

Employee Dimension

Workforce dynamics — talent retention, capability gaps, institutional knowledge drain, and cultural shift.

D3 · REVENUE

Revenue Dimension

Financial architecture impact — pricing models, recurring revenue, margin compression, and investor signals.

D4 · REGULATORY

Regulatory Dimension

Government, compliance, and oversight dynamics — existing mandates, new scrutiny, and enforcement uncertainty.

D5 · QUALITY

Quality Dimension

Product, content, or service quality implications — creative contraction, technical debt, and output degradation.

D6 · OPERATIONAL

Operational Dimension

Infrastructure and process resilience — reorgs, system dependencies, integration complexity, and parallel risk.

Each analysis produces a FETCH score (aggregate severity across active dimensions), a cascade chain (origin → L1 → L2 sequence), and a DRIFT score (distance between current trajectory and optimal position). The scoring system calibrates against the growing case library.
Full Analysis Pipeline 8 stages  ·  10–40 sources per case  ·  FETCH + DRIFT scoring  ·  Days to delivery
STAGE 01 Event Identification
A qualifying business event must meet threshold criteria: material market impact, multi-stakeholder exposure, or cross-sector cascade potential. Not every headline qualifies — only events that propagate across multiple dimensions simultaneously.
M&A Announcement Earnings Dislocation Regulatory Action Executive Departure Product Launch / Recall Market Shock Labour Action AI Disruption Signal
STAGE 02 Source Corpus Assembly
Primary, secondary, and tertiary sources are gathered before analysis begins. Source quality is weighted in scoring — a finding supported by an SEC filing carries more weight than a trade press mention. All sources are numbered and cited in the final output.
PrimarySEC & regulatory filings · Earnings transcripts · Court records · Government documents
SecondaryTrade press · Analyst reports · Investor communications · Conference call recordings
TertiaryJob postings · Patent filings · Org chart changes · Product changelogs · Pricing pages
Signal SourcesExecutive statements · Union filings · Customer complaints · Vendor disclosures · Forums
10–40 sources assembled per case before analysis begins
STAGE 03 Dimensional Decomposition
All six dimensions are activated simultaneously — not sequentially. Each dimension receives independent analysis before cross-dimensional correlation begins. This parallel activation is what surfaces interactions that sequential analysis misses.

STAGE 04 Signal Extraction
Within each dimension, signals are extracted and categorized. Each signal is tied to a source citation. Absence signals — what an organization is conspicuously not saying — are treated as data.
Quantitative data points Behavioural signals Direct primary source quotes Leading indicators Lagging confirmations Absence signals Cross-dimensional triggers
STAGE 05 FETCH Scoring
Each dimension receives an independent severity score (0–10). The aggregate FETCH score is a weighted composite reflecting both severity and source confidence. Scores calibrate against the full case library — a 7.4 in this case means something specific relative to every prior analysis. (Illustrative scores shown.)

STAGE 06 Cascade Chain Mapping
The origin dimension — where disruption first entered the system — is identified. First-order effects (L1) and second-order consequences (L2) are then mapped, including cross-dimensional amplification nodes where two dimensions reinforce each other's severity. This sequence is often the most surprising finding for strategy teams.
ORIGIN · D2Employee
L1 · D5Quality
L2 · D1Customer
L2 · D3Revenue
STAGE 07 DRIFT Analysis
DRIFT measures the gap between what an organization states publicly and what the dimensional signals reveal. A high DRIFT score indicates strategic misrepresentation, institutional blind spots, or a management team that has lost the thread of its own cascade. Often the most actionable finding for strategy teams and editors.

STAGE 08 Synthesis & Publication
Scores, cascade chain, DRIFT assessment, and source citations are synthesized into a structured case study. The executive summary distills key findings for fast consumption. The full analysis supports deep review. Every claim is traceable to a numbered source.

03 — RECENT ANALYSES

From the case library

Nine published analyses spanning sports, enterprise technology, telecommunications, government policy, SaaS, and entertainment. Every case traces a real event to its full cascade — sourced, scored, and published within days of the trigger.

04 — HOW IT WORKS

From trigger event to published intelligence

STEP 01

Trigger Event

A merger announcement, earnings surprise, AI disruption, policy shift, or sector-wide signal is identified as a cascade candidate — proactively or by request.

STEP 02

6D Analysis

Each of the six dimensions is assessed for activation, scored for severity, and sequenced into a cascade chain with sourced evidence and FETCH scoring.

STEP 03

Published Intelligence

Structured output delivered as a case analysis — cascade-chained, scored, and source-cited. Formatted to your specification or published to the library.

Typical turnaround: 24–72 hours for standard engagements. Same-day output available for time-sensitive situations.

05 — ENGAGEMENTS

What working together looks like

Three formats depending on what you need — from a single on-demand analysis to ongoing sector coverage or custom-scoped deliverables.

06 — WHO IT'S FOR

The organizations that benefit most

6D Intelligence adds the most value where individual event analysis is insufficient and sector-wide pattern recognition is the competitive edge.

Strategy & Consulting Teams

Pre-read a sector before a client engagement. Understand the cascade before the conversation — not after the briefing.

PE / VC & Investment Firms

Map sector disruption signals before investment committee. Identify which dimensions of a target company are already under cascade pressure.

Trade & Business Media

License a structured "6D View" column or analysis series. Offer readers the pattern behind the news, not just the headline.

Legal & Regulatory Affairs

Map the regulatory dimension of a pending merger or policy shift — and the five dimensions it will activate downstream.

Start with a conversation.

No pitch deck. A brief exchange about what you're tracking and whether the 6D view adds something useful.
